Tax Summer Internship Programme
Tax is a vital service line at EY. Our teams work with every type of client – from global companies and individuals, to charities and NGOs.
Working in the UK & I
In the UK and Ireland, out Tax teams work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to manage every aspect of our clients’ tax affairs. Our clients include some of the world’s largest companies who we work with on issues like the tax impact of multi-billion-pound takeover deals, but also disruptor start-ups who we might advise on government incentives to encourage research and development. Increasingly, we find ourselves working with government on how to use tax as a lever to drive behaviour in society.
Working in Financial Services
Our Financial Services Tax teams also play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ business agenda by helping them navigate the complex and swiftly changing demands of national and international tax legislation. They look to us to help create value, save money, and achieve sustainable outcomes.
If you are in your penultimate year of study, or in your final year and will be completing a 1-year Master’s degree or taking a gap year you can apply for our exciting four or six-week programme that starts with fundamental business skills and ends with you doing the same work as our graduates. You’ll be part of a team doing work for real clients.
How do I apply?
