Working at EY
Bring your ambition, purpose and vision to help us deliver on our goals. We need people with a desire to win, to do things differently and constantly strive to find better ways to help our clients succeed.
With market leading growth, big ambitions and a bold vision comes more opportunity for everyone.
- Last year our UK firm experienced market leading growth by 8.6%
- Most globally integrated of the Big Four
- We have a focus on our growth platforms and our market segments
- 24% of our new Partners for this year are based outside of London
This year, we’ve appointed 95 equity Partners to our UK business – 40% more than last year. These appointments demonstrate the continued growth we’ve experienced over the last 12 months and are in response to increasing client demands for our services on a global basis.
Our UK and Ireland business aims to have 30% female and 10% BME representation in our new Partner intake, measured over a rolling three year period. Of the 95 Partners appointed over the last year, 32% are women and 11% are from a Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) background.
We have 100,000 clients worldwide and work with 80% of the Fortune Global 500. We provide leading insight to organisations across a range of industries and sectors: for example, our Powering the UK report which delivered and honest and open debate on the energy industry.
ITEM Club & Thought Leaders
EY have been sole sponsors of the ITEM Club for more than 25 years. It is the only non-governmental forecasting group to use HM Treasury's model of the UK economy. EY ITEM Club is part of Economics for Business, which provides knowledge, analysis and insight to help businesses understand the economic environments in which they operate, both in the UK and within the global economy.
Our global approach
The breadth and depth of the services we provide already makes us a truly global — and globally integrated — professional services company, and one of the Big Four.
We’re joined up across geographical boundaries and industry sectors, allowing us to respond faster and deliver more consistent quality of service to clients around the world. And, because our high-performing teams think and act in this way, you’ll have the kind of experiences that will help shape your career in global business.
The networks you build and the experiences you have with us will help define and accelerate the rest of your career. Last year in the UK, nearly 2,000 of our people were promoted or progressed within their grade, and we are significantly increasing the number of Partners in the UK.
Entrepreneur Of The Year
There would be no business without the spirit of entrepreneurship. So encouraging and supporting entrepreneurialism is at the heart of what we do — wherever it happens, whatever stage it may be at, and however that spirit engages with us.
EY has recognised the importance of entrepreneurialism for more than 25 years. We created the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme, considered the world’s most prestigious business award and is held in more than 145 cities and in more than 60 countries.
Entrepreneurs create jobs, and their innovations enrich people’s lives. Their forward-thinking and creativity makes a difference to their communities and to society as a whole.
The insights and quality services we deliver help build trust and confidence in the capital markets and in economies the world over. EY develops outstanding leaders who team to deliver on its promises to all of its stakeholders. We play a critical role in building a better working world for our people, our clients and our communities.
