Your learning and development
EY’s world-class training reflects our belief in your potential to succeed — many of the graduates we recruit today will be the leaders who inspire tomorrow. You’ll be learning from exceptionally talented people as you work in high-performing teams, determining the direction of your own career and using our programmes to develop your strengths. At EY, you can make the impact you want, building a better working world for our clients, for EY, and for you.
You’ll have to work hard. This means putting in the hours, leaving your comfort zone and studying with diligence while meeting the challenges of a full-time job.
It also means keeping on top of your own learning and development, being highly responsible with client information and IT security, and showing the flexibility and capacity to deliver exceptional service — wherever and whenever our clients demand.
What we offer
Our graduates are our future leaders. We invest significantly in their training and individual development programmes, encouraging them to understand and apply their natural strengths.”

Join your peers for an introduction to EY that launches you into work, involving you in client business as part of a highly professional team. It’s a steep learning curve — the best way to put your strengths to work.
The exact qualifications you pursue depend on which part of EY you join. Whether you study for chartered accountancy or other qualifications, we assist you at every step in acquiring new knowledge and skills and applying them effectively. These qualifications open the door for future success.
Coaching and career progression
We help you progress in the direction that’s right for you by offering impartial and confidential careers advice, along with ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to help you to develop your natural strengths, maximise your opportunities and make a lasting impact.
Learning & development
Whilst you never stop learning by working in teams on client projects, our wide range of formal, web-based and ad hoc programmes develops your interpersonal, commercial, technical and professional capabilities.
You’ll want to measure your performance against challenging benchmarks to get a clear idea of where and how to improve. Regular reviews with your assigned coach give you the opportunity to do this, receive feedback from experienced colleagues, and set fresh goals.
As you progress within EY, we celebrate each milestone with you. Many interns attend our annual International Intern Leadership Conference in Florida, and newly promoted managers and assistant directors share ideas and insights into best practice at our Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) conference.
