What is Data Analytics at EY?

We bring data to life, we develop complex models to support strategic and operational decision making for our clients - including deal structuring and capital allocation decisions to optimisation and deployment of operational resources.

What will you be doing?

  • Using innovative techniques like simulation, machine learning, scenario modelling and visualisation
  • Working directly with clients in their offices or at EY
  • Learning on the job from senior colleagues

Are you eligible to apply?

You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths, three A-levels, 5 Highers or equivalent, and an honours degree (in a Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering or any Data Science related subject) by the time the programme starts. 

Some operational knowledge of a computer programming language (such as SQL, VBA, Python, Matlab, R etc.) is also needed, with a passion for Analytics.

How’s it structured?

After an EY induction, you’ll jump straight into learning how we use valuations and business modelling practices and methodologies. You’ll soon start working on client projects as part of a team and will take in a lot of new professional tech knowledge too. And, while you’ll mostly be based in the UK, if you’re great at your job you may get the chance to travel and work abroad.

Your learning and development are at the core of this programme so as well as having the support of your team and a coach, you’ll take internal and external training courses. As you progress through the programme, you'll take on more responsibilities, broading your skills and professional experiences so that by the time you finish, you may find yourself promoted and mentoring the next graduates.
