EY Advisory Service Delivery collect, analyse, cleanse and enhance ‘Know Your Customer’ records for financial services institutions. Essentially, this is the information used to prove the identity of an individual or company when applying for a bank account or entering into a business relationship. This means our clients can easily identify non-compliant customer records and allow for relevant decisions to be made.
The Financial Conduct Authority recently carried out a review of advice standards and investment management undertaken by financial institutions. In some cases, incorrect investment advice had been provided. Financial institutions are currently dealing with customer reparation to correct these fallings. Qualified EY Advisory Service Delivery professionals in investments, mortgages, pensions, and regulated complaints handling help clients to address these challenges through our suitability review solution.
The Office of Fair Trading and the Financial Conduct Authority have recently reminded financial institutions of their legal obligations. These include providing consumers with full and accurate information on their loan agreements. As a result, financial institutions are conducting assessments and identifying failings. Any failings require them to conduct a redress and remediation programme to reimburse customers. EY Advisory Service Delivery are appointed to deliver these programmes on behalf of various financial institutions.
Our Reporting Solutions service creates bespoke reporting solutions to help our financial services clients meet their reporting requirements. This frees them up to focus on revenue generating activities. Work includes: preparation of statutory and regulatory reporting, XBRL filings, management and executive information, internal risk reporting, treasury reporting, company secretarial support, payroll processing, and administration and financial close support.
